SERVICE DESCRIPTIONSt. Edwards Health Centre started in 2007 mainly to address maternal child care particularly helping pregnant women. After seven years, a total of 63 babies had been born and over 45 had reached school going age. Although education is mean to be free, its is something beyond reality. Besides lack of basic scholastic materials, the education infrastructure is extremely poor. Looking at this urgent need, Fr. Achilles mobilized funds to open up a kindergarten to provide preschool education. In 2017, Fr. Achilles started a Kindergarten with a total number of 36 children age 3 to 7 years In 2017, the very year Fr opened the school, the first building was constructed . Today, Granny School has over 400 children from baby class to primary 5. To ensure that our learners get the best education, we chose to use a phased approach, where we add one class every year until primary seven. |
