PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

In uganda today unemployment is at 83%. although a great number of youths have attained some form of education, many missed out on proper child upbringing. the current education systems not only fail to produced job creators but also has produced a youth group incapable of positive self-defining. many youth fail to make informed decisions especially about the life they want to lead. the growth of technological advancement has ruined many of their potentials to live responsible life styles.the behavior change programs (bcp) aims at is program mainly focuses on helping the youth adopt positive behavior life styles s well as discovering their untapped potentials. for those at school, holiday programs are organized where we build their life skills through seminar and workshops and experience sharing between several groups.

CHALLENGES

Several out of school youths have not developed any survival skills at all and this exposed them to several risks including hiv/aids. many of them desire to be entrepreneurs but completely do not have the capacity to do so.

POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS

There is need to expand this program to schools so that as children grow, they built both in intellectual, behavioral and spiritual knowledge.
