Social Services

Although drugs are so central in improving patients health, the first question many of our patients will ask after their recovery is:
what about my children's School fees...food...clothing... and all other necessities.
Through funding from individuals, we provide these social services and we have also improved access to clean water by constructing new bore holes/spring wells as well as repairing others.
We have also trained communities on how to maintain these sources so they can benefit them for a long time. For more information read about our programs.

Educational Services

Although medical treatment is vital in improving patients' health, the first question many of our patients ask after their recovery is: "What about my children's education... school fees... learning materials... and a better future?"
Thanks to generous support from individuals, we provide educational support services to families in need. This includes covering school fees, supplying essential learning materials, and supporting schools in underserved communities.
We have also improved access to quality education by helping refurbish classrooms, provide teacher training, and establish community learning centers. In addition, we empower local communities with skills to sustain these initiatives long-term. For more information, read about our education-focused programs.

Nutrition Support

Although medical treatment plays a key role in recovery, many of our patients and their families face a critical question afterward: "How will we afford proper food and nutrition to stay healthy?"
Through the generosity of our donors, we provide nutrition support services to ensure that recovery is sustained through proper nourishment. This includes distributing essential food supplies, offering supplementary feeding for malnourished children, and educating families on healthy, affordable diets.
We also support communities in establishing kitchen gardens to grow their own fruits and vegetables, and we train families on how to prepare nutritious meals using locally available resources. Our goal is not just to feed—but to empower households to thrive in the long term. For more information, read about our nutrition and wellness programs.

What a fruitful relationship!!

Dear Friends of St. Edwards and all you people of goodwill, I welcome you all to St. Edward's Health Centre, a result of Kind donations and acts of faith from Pastors Steve Sallot and Rev. Brendan Manson together with the Christians of St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church in California. You have made a very positive difference in the lives of people of Uganda; your generous contributions have changed hundreds of lives! Like Rev. Brendan, your kind donations teach me every day the universality of the Catholic Church. Through God's Divine providence and your willingness to share your resources with the poor and hard to reach women and children in the rural Uganda,

Who have donated to us

I can be sure that the challenges ahead of St. Edward's will be overcome. Our pledge to all our supporters is continued commitment to care for those in greatest need.
We value and are grateful for the contribution of everyone who works or volunteers with us and individual supporters who sustain our work.
Again, thank you all for your love for the poor ones of Africa and Uganda in particular.May God reward you abundantly
